The number of unemployed in Spain fell in July by nearly 30,000 to 4,419,860. This is the lowest figure since Spain’s current conservative government took power in 2011, according to new figures from the Spain Ministry of Labour.
The decrease in July was at 29,841 people, which was half as many as the same month last year. This means that unemployment is now down to about the same level as when the conservative party Partido Popular won the parliamentary elections in Spain in November three years ago.
